Mission Statement
Strong Quality Basketball Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization of people with the common interest of bringing youth together in a positive environment to learn and experience competitive organized basketball. Through supervised and structured activities, we provide student athletes the opportunity to learn teamwork, and leadership which teaches and enables them to become responsible students, citizens and community role models. As an organization, SQBA serves as a pipeline in the college recruiting process and places its student athletes on the highest national stage, against the strongest level of competition. SQBA works with each student athlete and their families as well as with the college coaches to make sure the process goes as smoothly as possible. We also emphasize the importance of education, family, community outreach and encourage excellence in all endeavors. SQBA is not for student athletes who are not dedicated to achieving the highest level of excellence in the classroom, its community, plus competing in the highest level of basketball, and are not looking to be involved in a much disciplined basketball organization.
We strive to maintain a program that is at minimal to no cost to our participants and families. All of our funding for tournaments, travel, equipment and supplies is through the generous donations of our sponsors.
