SQBA MISSION STATEMENT

Strong Quality Basketball Association, Inc. is a non-profit organization of people with the common interest of bringing youth together in a positive environment to learn and experience competitive organized basketball. Through supervised and structured activities, we provide our players the opportunity to learn teamwork, and leadership which enables them to become responsible students, citizens, and community role models. SQBA emphasizes the importance of education, family, community outreach and encourages excellence in all endeavors.

Program Goals

• For participants to better themselves in their school, community, and in basketball.

• For participants to improve communication and leadership skills.

• For participants to play basketball in a positive environment.

• For participants to build his/her confidence and self-esteem.

• For participants to learn the spirit of sportsmanship, and teamwork.

• For participants to be involved in and understand importance of community outreach.

• To provide participants with a program that is little cost to them and their families.
